Winter is one of the harshest times on hands.  Our heaters are cranked, which dries out skin.  Then we go outside and it's freezing, which also dries out skin.  Either way your hands are exposed to those elements more so than the rest of our bodies.  Baby those hands and they'll baby you!

Different ideas for Aroma-Sensory: Fragrance

When I first started out selling Sensaria we had a few oils that we didn't sell as Aroma-Sensory but they've taken that small idea and changed it to a great product. So I have some fun ideas for uses around your house other than just putting them in the Aroma-Sensory black burner.

Essential oils influence our emotions within seconds of inhalation. For instance, clary sage stimulates the thalamus to release a hormone called encephalon, a neurochemical that creates a sense of euphoria and provides pain relief. Lavender and chamomile fuel the release of serotonin, which has a calming effect on fear, stress, aggravation, or insomnia.
We have many different scents, but regardless you can use the oils in so many different parts of your house.   


1.  Dab one of our scents onto a cotton ball and rub your lightbulbs with the scent. Then every time you turn on your lights that scent will come alive. 
2. Dab four or five cotton balls with your favorite scent and then put the cotton balls in your vacuum, bag less or not.  Either way every time you run your vacuum you'll have a great smell. 
3. Of course use Sensaria's burner for the oils and this will fill your room with the smell. I always advise one to a room unless the room is over 700 sq. ft. then two are best.

Wash, exfoliate, toner and moisturizer!!!

"As you go about your daily business, your skin is going about its own. Skin cells that have been around for about 25 days are starting to shed, making room for the new skin cells that will be taking their place.         So now we know that we must exfoliate but with what, how often and do I still need to wash my face? First and foremost you must wash your face.  You dont want to exfoliate all the dirt and grim into your face. So always wash first.  You should be exfoliating NO MORE then once or twice a week. You want to scrub off the dead skin cells but not scrub off your face with it.  Sensaria trains us on how important it is to use small-grained exfoliants and not large grained because of the damage that can be caused to your face more than actually helping it. I personally love the Sea Kelp Scrub. It has a  finely ground mixture of walnut shells and apricot seeds in it to help gently exfoliate your face. I've been using it for 6 years.







Although while pregnant, I switched over to the enzyme exfoliating treatment, it is for sensitive skin and has the smallest exfoliating grains, because my skin was freaking out when I was pregnant.

I love to exfoliate in the evening and in the shower.  I feel like I am scrubbing away the day and my skin will be able to rest all night long.

Oh and I almost forgot about the guys.  Sensaria makes a great face scrub for men. My husband is going to be so embarrassed but he LOVES this!!! He uses it every morning and is on me to order him more when he runs out. Keeping you sweet and smooth

My favorite product from Sensaria is the sweet and smooth body scrub. The sweet almond oil combined with sugar and salt allows your skin to be thoroughly exfoliated and moisturized.  I use this product to shave with.
 I rub it all over my body, not my faced though, and then shave.  The sweet and smooth is so much better for your skin than shaving cream because of the sodium laurel sulfate that is an ingredient in so many shaving creams. Sodium laurel sulfate pulls the essential oils out of your skin and then you shave that skin.  It's very drying for your skin.

Lips and eyes

Did you know the skin around your lips is almost as sensitive as the skin around your eyes? Customers always ask what they can do about chapped lips. I absolutely love the cherry almond conditioner. I use it when my hair begins to feel a little frizzy or just not soft anymore.  Being that I live in SoCal I am out in the sun more so my hair can get brittle although I used this conditioner all the time while in Chicago due to the cold and the use of our heater.  The cold weather can be just as damaging to hair.  This conditioner has powerful plant oils, texturizing soy protein and botanically-derived conditioners that are all blended together, offering a deep restructuring treatment to revive hair whose health and structure have been damaged by chemical processing or exposure to drying environments.

So use the shampoo first and then lather on the conditioner.  What I find works best with the conditioner is when it is used almost as a mask for your hair. The Sea Kelp Scrub is a great item for those of you with normal, oily or combination skin. Sensaria says those of you with sensitive skin can use it as well but I wouldn't.  I would suggest the Enzyme Exfoliating Treatment which is an exfoliant made just for sensitive skin.

I use the Sea Kelp Scrub three days a week to help slough off the dead skin to allow the new skin cells to regenerate. A finely ground mixture of Walnut Shells and Apricot Seeds combine to make a skin smoothing facial scrub.
I have been using the sea silk mask forever!!!  It is by far one of my favorite items in the Sensaria catalog.  It leaves my face feeling so soft!  I wash my face, using the Balancing Cleanser, as soon as I get in the shower, rinse it off and apply a thick layer of the sea silk mask.  I do everything else while the mask is soaking in and then rinse it off right before I get out.  It's recommended that the mask isn't allowed to get completely dry so the great part about doing it in the shower is the steam from the water keeps some moisture on your face.  I absolutely love this mask!!!!
