So now we know that we must exfoliate but with what, how often and do I still need to wash my face? First and foremost you must wash your face. You dont want to exfoliate all the dirt and grim into your face. So always wash first. You should be exfoliating NO MORE then once or twice a week. You want to scrub off the dead skin cells but not scrub off your face with it. I personally love the Sea Kelp Scrub. It has a finely ground mixture of walnut shells and apricot seeds in it to help gently exfoliate your face. I've been using it for 6 years.
Although while pregnant, I switched over to the enzyme exfoliating treatment, it is for sensitive skin and has the smallest exfoliating grains, because my skin was freaking out when I was pregnant.
I love to exfoliate in the evening and in the shower. I feel like I am scrubbing away the day and my skin will be able to rest all night long.
